Electronic musician Holly Herndon presents her vision of a musical and digital future, exploring technologyís potential through artificial intelligence, vocals and visuals.
Herndon is joined by an expanded vocal ensemble and her nascent machine intelligence creation Spawn to perform music from her third album PROTO. Created through collaborations with a long list of musicians, programmers, developers and theorists including JLin, Matthew Dryhurst, ensemble developer Jules LaPlace and of course, Spawn.
We’re really excited to announce support for Holly Herndon will be the incredible Gribs, co-manager of TT – (fka Tobago Tracks).
Based in London, she has performed at Corsica Studios, Tate Modern and The Royal Academy as well as holding down sets for Boiler Room, NTS Radio and Rinse FM. Having previously supported the likes of Yamaneko, CEM, and Flora Yin-Wong and Mobbs, she’s known for sprawling, textural sets and a deeply experimental approach to dance music. She recently played her first show in Sheffield at Hatch for their chaotic Tramlines weekender – it’s good to have her back in the city so soon!
